When I pulled up to the launch it was real windy, but I was hopeful that it would lay down. I launched and slowly made my way to the pier against the wind. There was some bait at the pier, but it was picky. While making bait, I noticed the lightning up north... not a good sign. The wind never let up and it even rained for a while. I found a nice shark (5-6 feet?) that towed me around for a few minutes, took some crazy runs, and finally cut the line. That was the one highlight for the day.

Made bait at the pier early , went to 60' by condo and hooked up twice, nice fights, tow job and then kelped. Frustrated!x2 Paddled south and hooked up solid in 98' and thought I had this one. 10 min fight and then kelped again! I think this fish found the only kelp stringer around. 0 for 3 today! Is it better to love and lose or to not love at all? Nice day little rough but the morning sky and sunrise /lightning storm was really cool to see.
