La Jolla
This is my first trip out of La Jolla for yellow tail on my kayak. What depth of water should i focus on and should i use live bait of irons?

I'd stick with bait unless you are proficient in reading your FF

Unless you see yellowtail boiling in which case a surface iron is great. But for Yoyo which is what I assume you mean... Bait unless you know the FF
