Big Mac
Paddled out about 6:00 this morning 8/10 to not much wave action, easy launch. Lots of bait popping no takers on the sabaki. Started trolling a fish trap, repala, and a jimijig. Get slamed on the fish trap, ok maybe not slamed but it felt good to have something tugging. It's a big mac so I pinned him on and sent him back. Troll around for a while for not. I bring in the mac thinking he is just too big, but at the last second decide to try a little longer, so send him back out, put the rod in the back holder, pick up the jimi to throw a few times when the mac goes off. Get it out of the holder, it's screaming, free spool it eat eat eat in gear and nothing, bring it in, no mac. That was my morning.
