I.E.: Drive to La Jolla, unload kayak, set up kayak, park truck, launch kayak thru waves, make bait, pin bait on hook, deploy bait how ever you choose. Get bit, wind up fish, gaff fish, place fish on game clip, paddle back to launch, land back on beach (preferably without flipping). Tell the tourists "No, it's not a tuna", Walk to your truck, Drive truck to the beach being extra careful not to run over anybody or get stuck in the sand, load up gear, stop at the gas station to get ice, buy something to eat for lunch, drive home, unload gear, clean gear, clean fish, drink beer, take shower, change clothes, take a nap, finish putting away gear, post fish and report BWE.
Repeat.

Nice fish !

How you like that 2015 Mirage Bluefin mirage drive ?
10% more efficient according to Hobie.
Can you really feel it ?
I see you still have your old PA12 but a brand new Bluefin drive.

Yes.
I briefly stuck a 2015 MirageDrive with Glide Technology & ST fins in my 2014 PA12, & it's night & day different. Amazingly smooth. Even though it was a brand spanking new drive (and they all feel like Ferraris out of the gate), it still felt like there was almost no resistance and as if the original claims are being a bit modest.. I can't wait to own one and really put it to the test under mad miles, as I am completely blown away already, no horse hockey.
