Gonzaga in Septemeber
I can't say enough about this trip but to keep it brief I'm mostly showing some of the pictures.
A few facts first.................. Travel Day, Tuesday.............101 degrees high temp....44 fish caught Wednesday.........................101 degrees high temp...113 fish caught Thursday............................105 degrees high temp...116 fish caught Friday.................................93 degrees high temp...44 fish caught, by three Saturday.............................Weather station down...114 fish caught Sunday 1/2 day....................Weather station down...118 fish caught Species caught included............ Spotted Bass Triggerfish needlefish pufferfish wrasse three types of grunts Pacific Cervalle Orange Mouth Corvina Ribera Grouper Cabrilla Hogfish Halibut Roosterfish HERE'S SOME PICTURES................

Greg, in my 66 years on this planet I have seen it like this once before also in Gonzaga. That was 15 years ago. So many species in the same area, all hungry all at the same time. I think some of the younger guys on BWE could have done 100 fish a day. 20+ fish an hour was possible on this trip. I hope that all of you get a chance to experience a bite like this at least once in your lives, and BTW this was again a FULL MOON trip.

What were the night time temps like? I thought you took that new thresher down there? What happend to it?

I was down there last September and the bay was plugged with bonito. Did you guys run into any? The 4th picture almost looks like the white bonito that you run into in the east Cape. Any whale shark sightings?

Sorry, Ross did not see any bonita, but had a small whale shark swim by. Remember we are not quite in the BAY.
