Its been a loong time.
So I had a short hiatus from west coast fishing. 4 years for dental school in New York, and just got back this summer. At UCLA for a year residency and then Ill be looking to practice somewhere in so cal.
But, I did get to do a little fishing while in new york. Montauk can get absolutely insane! But this is how I felt when I got back: What got me through the last winter was knowing what I was going to pick up as soon as I got back. The new rides: First day out, I knew that I was going to be rusty and just wanted to make sure that everything worked. It certainly did! Second time out was this last weekend, and I was set on yellowtail. I was out all 3 days and was able to make it happen: Found the bait. Loving the 7 inch dragonfly btw. And found the fish! |

Great report. How do you carry your kayak on the Ridgeline? I don't see a rack.

Welcome back home.
Always fun to fish new places, but... "There's no place like home" |
