Feliz Ano Nuevo

Happy New Year!!! Baja or Bust is spending New Years in Gonzaga this year. Last year we did Asuncion it was a good trip. This year we will spend New Years in Gonzaga. We will leave San Diego on the early morning hours of 30 December and return on the 6th of Jan, 2015.
Chuck D, who bought my Hobie AI, suggested this trip. He is planning on fishing the Island, Isla San Luis, which is 5 miles off the beach infront of our place. I would think this should be an overnight trip spending the night on the island, maybe two nights. I have not heard about any kayaks fishing the island. Grouper, cabrilla, WSB, snapper are all residents of the island. I have caught Grouper over 200 lbs, and pargo over 25 pounds within a couple miles of the island. Room for at least 4 more anglers. Tight lines. FULL MOON 5 Jan.

At 67 years old, I don't even buy green bananas let alone plan 7 months in advance.

Just like Ross, you're killing me Bob!
Just confronted the W/C insurance company about the delay in authorizing a request for a series of epidurals as they have had 2 months in which to respond! And as things would happen, my orthopedic surgeon had a last minute opening to perform a surgery yesterday he had requested but due to the lack of operating theaters available could not schedule to perform. Even If I receive my epidurals in the next few weeks my appointment to see him was been re-scheduled for the 30th!
I just can't catch a break! ! !

99% artificals. Crocks and megabaits, trolled repalas DEEP. plastics for bass. In Baja if it wiggles it will get bit.

FFY, your turn will come.

Dave that would not be a problem. We caravan from here to my place in Gonzaga on the morning of the 30 th of Dec. You would just leave from Gonzaga a couple of days before us for the trip home. Jim did that for our last trip. Once you know how tp get there it is easy to get home. With fair weather you woud get an evenng session and 4 full days in paradise. Let me know.

Nope. At 5:30 am on 30 Dec we will all meet at Johnnys Shell Station in El Cajon. 515 N. Magnolia just off the 8. We will leave from here before 6 am.
Caravan to our place just north of Gonzaga. You will need your gear with sleeping bag and cot. Each of us will be responsible for one nights dinner for everyone. Bring your own water, drinks, snacks and ice. I will bring bacon and eggs for 3 breakfasts. Bring what you want for lunch. All safety gear, remember your radio and Mexican fishing license. If you want a campfire bring a bundle of wood. your own silverware. We might eat dinner in town one night so bring an extra $20. If you have other questions pm me. You might want something for NEW YEARS and bring a jacket just in case.
