July kayak carnage

I've had some great days in LJ, but this day was unreal.
Went out with my buddy and his brand new outback. We got an easy late morning start and practically had the Jewel to ourselves. I only saw one PB all day and 2 or 3 yakers. All of LJ was teeming with life- birds, dolphins, whales, and only one sea lion roaming around?! Fish everywhere, on the finder, annihilating bait on the surface, swimming under birds. They ate everything, greenback, surface iron, and the largest of my bunch swallowed the feared spanish mackerel (hook was literally in its stomach!).

I wish I brought my go pro this day Had some fun releases too..Anywhoo, the iPhone pictures didn't turn out great but here are the ones that did, enjoy!

My keep:

Fish powered kayak. Ear to ear smile. I think he is spoiled now, this isn't suppose to happen on your first day in LJ with your new kayak.

If I were you I'd be out there whenever your friend goes out!
Someone or something has/had some GOOD Juju.
And the best was that you had the place just about to yourselves! I'll bet I know what that place looks like tomorrow!
I'll bet it takes a while for those to disappear.
That's one heck of a haul!
Congrats on a memorable day.
