Anyone hitting LJ on Sunday?
I haven't had the yak in the water in about a year. I have a 20 month old son, go figure.
I'm finally getting things back in order and can't wait to get out in the kelp. Planning to launch near Big Rock ( just south of Windansea and right at the border of the closed area) and paddle north to fish the kelp off of the little point, just north of windan. That is, as long as the surf is permitting. The forecast is 2-3+, but the tides are perfect. Low is at about 5:45 AM and high is around noon. Anyone else going to be in the area? |

I was at LJ yesterday with the same conditions as today and the surf was a bit sketchy. Just time the waves it should work. Lots of Barracuda out there.

Unfortunately, work has gotten in the way of my fishing time once again.
Hopefully, I'll get out there next weekend. |
