Sept 6th HOW La Jolla Tournament - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

We are getting everything organized for our next fund raising event. Look in our Tournaments section for the Paypal entry and more details to follow.

Cost will be $40 and will include a tournament T Shirt and lunch. All proceeds will go to our local chapter of Heroes on the Water. Sponsors are stepping up with some great prizes for the winners.

There will be a biggest fish over all winner, biggest halibut, yellowtail, white seabass and lingcod. There will also be a biggest bass, photo/measure/release catagory. If any of these categories are not filled by a species caught we will have them in the angler raffle. Kids fish this one for free too. If you want to purchase a t shirt for them, cost will be $15. There will be no sign in or walk up entries. Launch any time after midnight and be at the weigh in in line by 1pm. Awards and lunch will be at Standley Park off Governor Dr. Super easy to get to, we set up here for the MLPA fighting fund raiser. We will post up directions in the official thread to follow. This is getting the date out, all the specifics will be available soon.

Sounds like another great event and cause. If only there was a prize for skunks or most bait caught.
