HOMEGUARD

HOMEGUARD

On June 07, 2014 a small army of Southern California Hobie Kayak Fisherman and dear friends of Leos’, all came together in kayak fishermen harmonyto pay their respect to Venezuela’s own, Leopoldo “Leo” Terrero. Below is a video from on scene at the Jewel just before lunchtime on truly a beautiful day, paying homage to one of La Jolla’s own. Leo was laid to rest alongside local Mossbacks in eternal peace out on the Pacific forever, now engraved as one of La Jolla’s Homeguards. Leo’s wife Georgette was on scene scattering his mortal remains into the Pacific Ocean he loved so dearly with Jerry, Richard, RedSledTeam, Gabe, Rick, Nic, & crew, while Christian his son was riding Leo’s surfboard for one last time..

Rest In Peace, Hermano..

What a special and beautiful tribute to honor your beloved friend, husband, and father this way. I can only imagine Leo is smiling down from heaven as you all came together to honor his life. Very nice indeed.

I hope one day, when my time comes that my friends and family will do something similar for me. God bless.

I very sad to learn of Leo's passing, he was always there to chat with on the water and on the beach. I loved the guy! You'll be missed Leo.

I'm releasing my next fish in your honor to swim the worlds waters and take you along for the trip.

Rest in peace my friend.
