Mysterious fish caught during kayak fishing show

Buddy of mine just send me this...really cool video. All the fish that I think it could have been apparently don't exist down there so it's still a mystery.

Man over edited and over dramatized... I couldn't stand watching the entire video. I didn't hear any drag, set too hight?

Lots of editing, lots of drama, and I'm confused about his setup. Was he seriously fishing 3 rods at the same time?! Sat through the whole thing but didn't get anything out of it.

It looks like he is using a Garcia 5000, I don't think those have drag clickers....those are the stupid silent runners if I'm not mistaking.

Who is Jim Simmons?

I tried to give this video a shot, listening to it in the background.

Couldn't do it. Even in the background it got annoying.

Tarpon, doubt that, in 2 feet of water no way. He would have been airborne. Jack not 6 foot long. Ray, probabally!!! What alse gets that big, inhabits 2 feet of water and trys to stay DEEP?

Thumbs down

I'm pretty sure he was just snagged on some structure and pulling against his own drag. Oldest trick in the book
