Opinions welcome
Bought a new drive for my older model outback. Now I've been told all I need to do is remove the alignment pin and it will fit rite in. Now it seems to me the shape is different as u can see from the pic. Not sure what to do?

? Doesn't feel like it
Doesn't seem like it will. The mold in the boat seems more squared where as the drive is more triangular not sure honestly the pic shows where it touches. I can even put the drive I to where the guides are holding it up from seating in place.
