South Korea -Mandarinfish and Big Bait bass
Some days ago got 22 small bass, five river tarpon and a mandarin fish from the kayak. All released. Mandarin fish was one of my bucket list fish I wanted to land while in Korea.
Yesterday fish 9" Osprey's from the kayak. Have put a few hundred hours into the big bait thing with little payoff, nice to bust a couple even if they weren't monsters. Last edited by philr21; 04-13-2014 at 04:46 AM. |

Friday and Saturday's fish
A lot of people told me couldn't be done, catching bass on big baits. Friday night someone told me that the bass were too small in this lake, impossible to catch on big baits.
Sometimes just have to do your own thing. Last edited by philr21; 04-13-2014 at 04:48 AM. |

How's that swim bait rigged up? Looks like the line is ran through the nose and out the bottom tied to a treble hook...
