LJ 10/3 AM
Launched at about 6:30 trough 1.5 breakers, got wet.
Sun was out. Made a 5-6 spanish rather quickly. Water yellowish green, not inviting. Lobster traps all over… Hard to troll – whole bunch of broken kelp and eel grass. It was especially bad on the ¾. Hooked up with Andy – two of us were pretty lonely out there. I continued south till the NW corner.. It was calm till 8:45AM, then some wind kicked in. Not too bad. Waves about the same on return. Not looking good. Fat lady…

Sounds like my weekend. I hope we are not done for the season. This water/weather just can't seem to make up its mind what it wants to do. Water was warmer on Friday afternoon and Sat but cooled down yesterday. Guess I may just play up north or focus on ling until some sign of life at the kelp. When are you out next Adi?

I'll be back tomorrow, lamb crew + east coast guest.
We'll probably just go after the rockfish.
