Someone should make an after market line hatch and sell it for half price.

I bought the plastic bucket from WalMart and cut it to fit my Outback front hatch. Water tight? No. But neither is the one that Hobie sells. I just slipped it in, marked with a sharpy and cut it to fit. I drilled a couple small holes and made a paracord loop to make it easy to identify the front of the bucket and get it in and out. Super simple and took 5 minutes. Might go buy an extra bucket or two just to have spares. I think the Walmart near me had them on sale for $10.00.

Home Depot had some as well for 5 and seemed very strong and shaped almost the same as hatch. Just needed to cut out the handles. Good enough for now

Finally I went to Norwalk Walmart and buy 2 3.89$ each
Thanks Airborneyak to exact place to buy It was my 4th Walmart I visit to buy it Kind of sick of dealing with unprofessionally trained employs ask where it is.... website show they have it but no one know where It looks pretty beaten I had to wash first before install Install is so easy only takes 5 min Use sharpie to mark and just cut Anyway I don't know the time I spend for searching ,is it worth 60$ ? I don't know ,maybe not But hey I don't want to pay 60$ for just simple bucket It is not water tight, not insulated there is no expansive logo on it.... I'm gonna put some snack or drink some tackles that's all I needed For someone who need to buy it Norwalk Walmart still has 4 of them at the Garden Center and they said it seasonal items so at summer they gonna have more |

Don't wanna bring up an old thread but I tried looking for this tub at Walmart but came out empty handed, well not really, you never leave Walmart empty handed.
Anyways, I might have missed the details but do I buy the 11gal flex tub or 27gal? Or whichever that is $3.92? |
