Finally get to hit the water
After three long weeks of working non stop i get to get back on my yak and fish! Get to sit at work for eight hours today and just cant wait to get home to clean up my gear for tomorrow. Going with Dennis Morgan and my two younger siblings. we are thinking about hitting Coronado or SD bay any of you guys have reports from the past couple of days to help decide our destination?

Right under the bridge starting at the green buoy and drifting has been good for me. Been using 1/2 oz jig heads with white 4" gulp swimming mullet. Also, big hammer swim bait 4-5" redrum has been good too! Good luck. Might be out the on my boat tomorrow.

Let me know what u decide. I'm still debating on where to go. I'm thinking about launching at Spanish landing and working the docks then bending the corner and go to harbor island. High tide a little before 9am is gonna be nice.

Good luck! I fished the Cays launching out of J street Chula Vista. About ten bass, a couple of legals. Could have been better if not for slack water at high tide and bright sun
