DP 02-16
Headed out a bit late, about 11am. Water was cool, calm and clear. Receiver had some nice chovies.
From the harbor I headed north around the rocks and inside the kelp in the skinny water, battery for bait tank went dead, poor chovies. Not much there, one short halibut. Headed to the outside of the kelp in 55-60ft, managed a 17" sandy and a 12" sculpin. About 2:30 headed to the bouy, fished outside there for another sculpin. Headed back in. Nice day to get out but slow on the fishing.

Now there's a man with my kind of fishing hours. I've been fishing south a bit lately, was wondering what the bite was like north. Thanks for the report.
