SD Bay 03 Feb 14
Woke up unsure if I was going to fish or not. I checked the weather and looked like the storm had passed, so I shook off the cobwebs from the Super Bowl and made my way to the Big Bay. Air temp was low 60's and water was about the same. I Launched from Kelloggs beach at 1030. I made my way to the bait barge and got a scoop of sardines. The guy at the barge said I was his first customer all day. After that I peddled across the bay to the Coronado side. I sent down my first sardine and with in 5 minutes I hook up a nice 24" Butt. I worked that side of the bay most of the day but only got a sculpin (CNR). Worked my way back and called it a day around 1600.
