Caught a Goldfish in SD Bay

Went out with a buddy and his two sons. They are true novices when it comes to fishing the bay. Took his wake boarding boat. I made him a crate with multiple rod holders so he wouldn't have worry about rods sliding about and someone getting hooked. We were able to catch at least a dozen fish each. It was fun teaching friends something new.

Brightest Calico I've ever caught in the bay.

Is there a correlation between color and health/diet in bass? I've seen that with lings, but that's it.
