Well... It was not from a kayak and not this side of the States...
I had some leave saved up so I went home to visit my family and freeze my ass off in Michigan. I had some plans to fish and hunt but it was late season for both so there were no great expectations. My old man took care of me as usual, and had a blind ready to go for me and on Christmas Eve I bagged a six point whitetail.
So then to keep it going he took me to one of his fishing holes on water that was bot frozen over... Hard to find with temps averaging in the single digits, and we limited out on steelhead in under three hours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Awesome. I was born and raised in Grand Rapids. Some awesome fishing and hunting in the area.
