SD bay. 10-14
Got out on San Diego bay today for the first time. I usually fish la jolla area. Much different style of fishing but very fun. Launched at shelter island. Peddled to the bait barge, made it by 8am. Kayak scoop $10 and some of the best sardines I've seen in a while.
So we start drifting, wind is calm, live bait in the water with clicker on . Second cast on a brown 6" swombait. Nice sand bass Drifting a little more, first sardine down and a just short halibut. 21.5 in back to the bottom of the bay. Couple more Sand bass on the plastic and tons of raked sardines but no big halibut a to post . Great day on the water. |
