The Korea Experience - An Dong lake (part1)
Tried An Dong lake out for the first time today. A big lake, one of the most well known in Korea for bass fishing, but reportedly a rather tough fishery. A bass tournament was being held here today.
Fished big swimbaits all day, nothing to show. Landed 8-10 small bass on the baby Shad Rap, and some three lipped or piscivorous chubs as well as bluegill. One of the chubs topped a pound! another ate another chub I had rigged for bass. Missed a bass on a chub and one on a bluegill, worm hooks don't make good live bait hooks. Beautiful area, nice to be on the water even though didn't land a whopper. It's coming though..... |

Supposed to do some bass fishing in Jinju next weekend so we'll see how that goes. May end up wading vice using the kayak though, don't know yet.
