SUMMER SEA BASS!!!!!

Rust never sleeps
An aptly named album..
& neither does a fisherman, if thats his prime target for the table..

"Out of the blue & into the yak.."
King Croaker is gone, but he's not forgotten..
This is a story of a fish that will never go rotten..
Its better to burn out your drags, than to fade away..
King Croaker is gone, but he's not forgotten..

There is a fine line between these two color variations, along with Mr. Youngs' fine rendition of perfectly capturing this hunt to the T.
On my drive down extremely early this morning, I heard this tune on the radio and thought I might have found the apropos soundtrack before I even started video recording during this weeks biscuit haul..

Summertime Sea Bass Slider Recipe / Kayak style.

Preparation / Ingredients:

(848,672,752,492) Gallons of fresh, unfiltered Sea water. (Source: Pacific)
(Higher elevation cooking may require slightly more water depending on precise tidal movement.)

(10) gallons polyethylene Hobie fine grade mix / Olive. (Rotomolded & baked until a well cured SOT fishing platform.)

(1) package of Sumo Jr Scrambled Egg. No yoke. Sunnyside down.
Placed roughly 1/3 of the way down into the upper water column till daybreak.
(Re-activate glow charge as needed with headlamp)

Combine both salt water & plastic, let soak in the dark, tight in the kelp forest while quietly metering for worms, ≈ ≈ ≈.

(1) pinch each of finely milled S&S to taste / (Saltist & Sealine) Daiwa common variety with upgraded Carbontecs & UT's.

48 Oz. of very very cold Anderson Valley / Boont Amber.
(For drinking while preparing this recipe. Make sure not to sandbag.)

Fish prep:
(C&D) Catch & Deck (1) free range hand plucked King Croaker via Sumo Jr. iron.
Additional Ghosts place in gunnels & safely release all subsequent Toads back into the salt water until ready to eat. Place your Biscuits deep into the forrest until your line explodes under maximum tension.) I.E. video @ 1:47

Cooking instructions:
Grill plain, or with a nice light spice rub.
(&/or) Fry small slider sized pieces, in honey panko bread crumbs.
*Do not overcook.*

Accoutrement:
Fresh Garden Salsa / with Mango, Finely shredded cabbage, coleslaw mix, or on a bed of Spring Salad, Leaf lettuce or whatever floats your yak..
(Mayo & Sriracha combo spread if desired/ 2 Tbsp Mayo:1 squirt o' Rooster)

* Important. Not just any ol' bun will do.. Proper mini country style slider dinner rolls, sliced in half, lightly grill-toasted with/or without butter.

Side dish: Canadian potatoes or buttered glazed baby carrots always works for me..

Assemble, rage, repeat. 4X.

Life just can't get better than this, except in Baja! Tight lines and bloody gaffs!

I liked your editing of Young's song, keep up the good work.

What was the date on your success with Mr. WSB?

Thanks.
