Sea Birds Feeding as indicator of baitfish?
i recently saw a few close to shore feeding sessions in which many sea birds were dive bombing ocean, turning the the glassy surface into a churning, frothy spectacle. not the first i've seen, nor the largest, but one of larger feedings that close to shore.
so, my questions would be; what are they going after? and, what's going after them? |

There have been grunion running for the last few days. If the birds were close to shore they might have been on them. Mike
