La Jolla 8/4 Yellowtail
Great day at our fine La Jolla fishery. Caught on my 9' jig stick on a surface iron!! It was the only jig I had tied up when I marked em. Got it home and weighed it.....43" 23lbs

Wow! that is a long slim YT at 43". Must be pure, delicious meat. Nice catch and thanks for reporting.

why are you smiling so big, in ALL the photos. are you sure your scale is accurate i would suspect that 43" YT, would weigh a little MORE than 23 #. .
