WTB Bigger Freezer

Not a Kayak trip but still worth sharing.

Just back from an epic trip to AK with my son (Mr. T - for those that don't already know him)

Saw Drakes post on a larger cooler and was inspired to post (since I usually don't).

Came home with two fish boxes. Both just at the 70# limit for the plane. One, Cohoe filets with some roe/caviar. The other mixed Hali/Ling Cod with a 10# yellow eye. (more pictures on the GoPro.. upload more later)

Looks like an awesome trip. You have got some serious eating to do.

Is that an old Fenwick? That's how my fly fishing days started!

It is an old Fenwick,

Awesome rod..... we now have 4 generations of my family who have fished that rod on the Kenai River, AK. It does have a 1 yr old Orvis reel on it...drag rules on a fly reel! Back in the day you had to palm the reel (think thumb drag)

Even with the drag cranked all the way down these fish make three good runs towards fast water before they are tired.

= very fun
