La Jolla 7-10-13
La Jolla is a great place to be for calamari lovers right now. Squid is stacked up deep which means that all the fish are FAT and happy, but not very active on the bite, at least not for me. I did happen to boat a few Calicos including what might be my personal best and I got it on a plastic with my new Curado 300E and Taramar rod so it was nice to break it in.
Also met El Presidente of the Lollipop guild, and a few other guys out there. Oh, and I completely forgot the name of the guy who let me borrow his squid rig but thanks again buddy and NICE FISH! See ya'll on the water!

That's Fishing Karma right there. BillyBass let me borrow his squid rig to make some squirts and while I'm jigging up calamari he grabs that big ol yellow!
