LJ 7/10
Got on the water at 4:30, flat surf and warm water. 2 light boats and big siener doing their thing. Good; Squid were easy and all you wanted. Not so good; didn't catch any thing with the squid. Couldn't stand to sit on the squid bed any longer so trolled a mack to the NW corner and back for nothing. There was bait breezing along the kelp line from the reserve to the NW corner. Maybe too much of a good thing bait wise. Fish don't need to eat a hook. I saw one spot of bait getting pushed and got a big cuda on the surface iron. Headed in at noon. Mike
