Oceanside first fish off the new kayak!

Second time out on the new yak no love the first time, but this time was alot better. Got out late took my time this morning got to fishing around 9,First fish landed on the new yak was a halibut came in at 18 inches then had a great day with the bass. Looking forward to hitting up Dana Point tomorrow.

Congrats on christening the new kayak! That is a nice looking spottie football, and the first fish off the kayak a halibut?! sign of good things to come.

Wish I could join you in DP tomorrow, Ill be up the hill on Del Prado at work but hope its another great outing and this time you bring in that barn door

Congrats, very nice fish!

I'm near OSide as well. I'm a newbie (2 experiences so far, 1 OSide Harbor and 1 Mission Pt). Did you pickup both of those inside the harbor or did you go out?
