He had to black them out due to animal rights activists. They are actually trained sea lions. They also help with propulsion. He just has to toss them a fish occasionally.

Maybe it's the angle of that photo but that yak looks like it doesn't need any stinking baby fur seal pontoons. I'd stretch a groin if I straddled it like that...I'm just saying.

I think one on the right is a dolphin. Sometimes the dolphin is faster than the sea lion and makes the kayak go in circles. Perfect for when you want to circle a school of fish.
