Charter Boat?
Does anyone have a recommendation on a charter? Hopefully a 3/4 or 1 day? I'm leaving in a few months and I'm going to miss all the good YT. I'm all rockfished out, I'd like to target YT/Flatfish. I check the fish counts, doesn't look all that great...

Mako Matt's is one of my favorites, based out of HB. He just sold his small boat, and bought new motors for his big boat. I think he's got them installed and ready to go. I've fished with him a few times, way cool captain.

I'd say the best 3/4 boat out there is the "San Diego" out of Seaforth. Just have to be out on a day they are biting. Just don't go to LJ, there are no fish there!

Chubasco 2. Ernie is a good captain and the boat has a low platform great for fishing. It can get a bit tight on a busy day with lots of people so just make your reservation and try to get on a day when it's not packed, ie weekend.
