Surf Landing

Wish I had a fish to film...but put this surf landing together for my family and friends who are far, far away from the yakking thing...

I'm following Roby's advice: paddle strapped down, mirage drive in and rudder down with release in hand.

Nice Jim, you have permission to shoot me if you need to show them an example of how not to launch/land

Nice Jim. Goes to show all the guys that say a Hobie can't be surfed. BTW you were about the only successful Hobie launch Sunday morning for the first several hours.

I use the peddles and rudder coming in, but in the larger surf I also have my paddle out to use as a brace in the event that I turn sideways.

Thanks for the post

Awesome landing Jim!!

I can't take credit for the method. I learned it from the fellas at F*stlane.

Just a reminder: make sure the mirage drive is bungeed in as well.

I usually ride behind the waves, but your way looks alot more fun....
