Malibu Stealth livewell question
Hey everybody, longtime lurker first time poster... Do you guys think the livewell on the Stealth 12 is big enough to hold a couple legal bass for tournament weigh-in? I plan on participating in the SD bass tourney later this month but I need to figure out the livewell situation.
Dimensions of the tank is 18" x 13" x 7" I ordered the pump kit from OEX but I can always rig it up on an external tank if need be. I would like to take advantage of the built-in tank since my crate takes up my the rear section of the yak. What do you guys think? Thanks in advanced, look forward to meeting some of you fine gents in SD. Alex. |

I had the pump, but never used it. It's quite noisy and if you pull the bottom drain plug the water cycles itself very well. I put a small mesh screen over it when I used small bait like anchovies or squid.
To answer your question, I wouldn't put more than two bass in there. Three is just pushing it. |
