Pt Loma Pot Hopping
First chance to test out the GoPro. I wanted to launch off of Windnsea Friday to look for some Reds but didn't feel like getting broken up (3-5')...Plan B was going out of M.B., head south to meter lobster pots and find rocks with fish. A huge quantity of catches during the day (I counted a dozen different varieties). Zero quality but fish tacos were scheduled for tonight so I apologized to the 10 reds that gave up their young lives...the one nice bend I got was a side hooked Grouper (wish it was a 52# Tail)...
When attempting to edit, I noticed a few errors/challenges: Pointing the camera at the sun is a NoGo. Should've brought a lens wipe. Sleeve cleaning doesn't work The clarity dropped noticeably when transferred to youtube. A remote sure would be nice to use Go easy, it's my first attempt. You can always close your eyes and enjoy the song! I am open to any suggestions. Last edited by Deamon; 12-30-2012 at 09:27 AM. |

Just like the Sun, bright clothing (like the back of your PFD) will effect your video quality as you can probably see the haze. Looks like the fish kept you busy.
