Dana 12-15-12
Hit Dana this morning from about 6 til noon. Big tide swing today that had me hopeful, but I couldn’t ever find my target fish. Current was ripping south, which made fishing the deeper structure & kelp very difficult. About 9 am someone flipped the switch and turned on the wind. There was a washing machine mixed swell, which also added to the fun. I stuck out the deeper stuff til 10, then threw in the towel & went to Doho for a break from the weather. Doho was off color & dirty from the recent rain and I didn’t have much luck there.
I did get a few bycatch fish for my effort, all released. Cali Sandbass 24” Blue Ling Steve |

That's a nice looking lingcod!
The water definitely looks unhappy with itself
