Elite 4 DSI or the Elite 5 DSI
Okay, BSP has the Elite 4 DSI as a door buster on Black Friday for $249. I could avoid the rush and for $399 you can get the Elite 5 DSI all weekend long. Which one would you pick and why? Thanks

Wonder if west marine honor the black friday sale at bass pro and match prices.. I would rather get it as west marine. Going to call them tomorrow.
But I too would like to know which would be a better way to go.. I noticed that many guys ask about the FF. Its alot of money and everyone wants to get the most for the buck. |

Put it on 6 month pay and it's even better and easier to get. I would go with the Elite 5

Two key points:
Elite 5 DSI: Output Power [kW] Max Peak-To-Peak 4,000 W / RMS 500 W Sonar Max Depth 250 ft \ 76 m Elite 4 DSI: Output Power [kW] Max 2800W PTP, 350W RMS W Sonar Max Depth Max 200 ft \ 61 m Also, BIG difference in screen size. If the money isn't the issue, the 5 is the way to go IMO.

From what I understand, you need to have the DSI transducer in the water. It won't work in the hull.
