Looking for a yak
I'm a greenhorn looking for a kayak. I've only been out in the water once. Looking for some recommendation on type and size of kayaks. I'm 5'7" and weigh 170#. Looking for stability but not sacrafice paddling. Thanks.

I have a Malibu Extreme which I bought from the boys at OEX in Point Loma off of Roscrans It has all the bells and whistles and is very stable and moves thru the water fairly well. Call Brent or Cowboy and they will take care of you. Even if you don't buy from them they wiil be more than happy to tell you all you need to know.
If yo have not already done so check out the web sites of Hobbie, Cobra, Malibu kayaks or just google fishing kayaks. FISHDUDE |

There are lots of good kayaks on the market. Listen to the recomendations, but test paddle before you buy. stable is leaned in time so look for something that paddles ez, and tracks strait.
