LJ 2/6am
Late launch at 0615 for some sand poundin'. Lowtide, light wind out of the east, water temp 57, water vis 20', and ankle slappers. Bait was tough at the pier, lot's of puddling dines but no macs. Nothing in the tank so I rigged some thawed squid to drag on the bottom.
On my way to the kelp I pick up this little guy... yo-yoed and tossed plastic for nothing else. Landed at 1030, just before the front came in. -D

Dennis,
I missed ya'. Got out lil' before you, came back right after you. Scraped 3 bigger greenies at the Pier, a tiny Spanish and the lizard and headed South… Pretty pink... Pretty flat, light winds. Visibility still over 20ft. Water temp 58 early, and then it went up to 60.5 later in the day. Worked 100' to 110' with live bait and iron for not much excitement. Around 10:00AM, I had something promissing but broke it off. Thick fog rolled in at 10:30AM out of nowhere. I was very glad to have beach coordinates saved in my GPS. I was 200ft west of the launch and I couldn’t see the shore.

Adi,
I saw your car when I launched. I was watching the front come in, but I didn't think it was going to be that fast... Nice pics... Next time. -D
