Forum outage - Tuesday 1/23/2006 10:00 PM - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

In preparation for new and cool web site updates, Big Waters Edge web site will be moving over to the new server tonight.

The forum will be closed starting Tuesday 1/23/2006 10:00 PM. It will be back up and running on our new hosting server.

It may take up to 24 hours for DNS changes to propagate on all naming servers on the internet. Majority of them ought to get the updated info by noon on 1/24/2007.

If you’re still seeing “the forum is closed” notice tomorrow at noon, you’re probably still looking at the old web server. You may want to consider rebooting your PC and/or your Cable/DSL modem/router(s) to force refreshing your DNS.

This is just a first step to support series of changes that are coming up. The move to the new server should be transparent to you, other than visibly improved forum performance.
