OB Deuce
I peddled out of Misson Bay this morning about 5:30 and headed for the kelp outside the OB Pier. On my way out, I picked up a couple short calicos trolling a swim bait. After about 15 minutes outside of the Kelp, I caught this Fat Sandy in about 40 ft of water on a 5" green swim bait.
Right after that I caught another descent calico drifting a ghost shrimp outisde the kelp as well. On the way in I caught a sculpin, but not worth the trouble to clean. If I had seen the wind forcast before I left, I probably wouldn't have left the channel. It was white-capping on the way in. Decided I need to get the Turbo fins. |
