Mission Bay on Saturday 7/21?
Anyone planning to fish Mission Bay Saturday morning and wouldn't mind a noob tagging along?
This is going to be my first Saltwater excursion on the kayak, so any pointers and guidance would be greatly appreciated! I'll be in a Blue FnD, wearing an Orange PFD. |

Or if you wanna catch a bigger one get yourself a yellow mini X and belly hook it and troll it around for several hours!

^ Not in Mission Bay unless were talking sea lions and ski boats lol.
Throw plastics along the edges of eel grass for spotties. Drift the sandy areas and channels for 'buts. Throw crankbaits and poppers for other toothy creatures.

Nice. I remember years back a PB scored one just west of the bridge. We were there the next morning chucking iron off the rocks haha.

Anyone willing to be a teacher for some offshore adventures?
I just picked Mission Bay because I figured I would be on my own and it would be a good stepping-stone before I go into the big blue on my yak. If someone is willing to lead the blind, I wouldn't mind going offshore. |
