Not so much yakin in Mammoth
I had takin' the days off of hell, to go on a trip to Catalina with a bunch of friends this weekend, but things didn't work out for us, so I went ot my "go to" trip for time off, Kendall has a place in Mammoth, so we opted to go there to spend the weekend.
Kendall pulls her PB for the Sierras in the first hour of the trip This is the Upper Owens, all of the following were caught and alot released, in one "honey hole", my wife took us to...I was using a Panther Martin in white, on 4lb. following the current around this small overhang, Kendall just pulled one after another...got an action shot... Yuckky fish blood... Did I mention she brought her pet Blonde "Boo-Boo" bear...GDF bears! Idnty cute... Oh yeah, I got my Eastern Sierra PB too... 4.5 lbs wieghed at the camp ground in front of the crowd I farmed one for Kendall, we didn't bring a net to this spot, I handed the line and lost a big un... The wind picked up the next two days, a fire closed 395 both ways on Saturday night, kept alot of pressure on the good spots, but we had a great time....
