First halibut on the yak!
Fished usual AO yesterday and caught my first legal 26" Halibut. Fish was caught of a nice smelt in 35 feet of water. Thanks BigBoy for the tips and Cabrillo boys for the motivation to seriously try for the Hali.
Conditions were windy at different times throughout the day. The area had very low visibility, but was still fishable. |
