First Pig shot from my PA
We launched at 4:30 am into a Paso Robles waterhole in our camouflaged Pro Anglers. We waited patiently for it to get lighter, when a large thirsty herd approached after a night of eating barley from a nearby field. A quick scissor kick and I was in the position. I raised my Rem 270 and put the cross-hairs on her vitals and squeezed the trigger. She dropped immediately and never woke up...I found her California Donor card in her back pocket, so she was driven to T&H meats in San Marcos to be made into 2 smoked hams, 2 pork shoulder, 2 marinated pork loins, breakfast sausage, sweet Italian sausage and linguica.

Thats f'ing awesome. I have a buddy with land up in the same area that we hunt pig on. No need for a kayak on his land though.
Nice jobs on the piggies! |
