Hobie Revo/Outback rod stowability for surf launches?
I'm new to the hobie scene and am trying to figure out which one I want.
I know the adventure can stow below deck for launching, can the outback and revo do the same? All my rods are 7'-8' Thanks |

I dunno about stowing the rods in the hull, but there is another way. If your afraid of loosing the stuff, just take your reels off and put the into your hull. Then take your rods and strap them to the side of your kayak. There is little grooves for the paddle on both side that works perfect for a few rods on all hobies. I've done it a time or two and it works out perfect.

Access below from the boat is tough especially on rough water. Remember to keep your gear where you can get to it w/o twisting and turning. Leashes

As you already my know the revo is faster the outback more stable.Demo both and see which one you like.I just picked up an Outback Thursday and my vhf handheld today all I need is a pfd and I'll be ready to rock n roll.
