Shimano Terez for a Yoyo stick?
Anyone have an experience with a Terez for Yoyoing with? I was thinking of putting a Torium 20 on a 7ft MH 30-65 Fast. I wouldn't mind a 6'6 but I wan't to be sure to get the line around the bow of my PA or over the rods standing behind me if need be.
For the price, which would be better, Terez or Pheonix? |

Yo-yo is about the least subtle technique there is and basicly requires a heavy tough rod that can absorb some shock as the fish hits on a tight line and tight drag. You don't need a fast action rod or actually want one. I'm sure terez or phoenix would work great but so will a seeker, calstar, or saber fiberglass rod. The terez and phoenix will be lighter but maybe over kill for a yo-yo stick. If you want to put a premium rod in your quiver consider a light/sensitive bait stick or jig stick. MHO Mike
