Wife's first fish - Mission Bay
Decided to hit Mission Bay with the wife on the back of my Hobie Outback. That's right, on the back of the Outback. I knew that I would be able to play taxi, but was surprised at how fast I was still able to paddle around. I love my Hobie. We fished the North Cove area for an hour and a half and only I was able to hook up with a spotty. That's cool I got one, but I really really wanted her to get hooked up with her first fish on a reel/rod. So I decided to try some casts in front of Fiesta Island and sure enough, she hooks up on her "last cast" of the day. She was so excited reeling this guy in!

Looks like you're either going to have to get a tandem kayak or get her one for her self. Great post
