she loved it!
I got a great deal on a used mini x for the wifey thanks to a bwe board member. Today was the first chance me and the Mises could get out together so I took her out to get her used to paddling. We had a great time! Took her to the cdm kelp, saw Garibaldi, just had a great day. No fishing rod in her hand yet, I'll work on that soon enough but she's on the water with me and got to see first hand how amazing kayaking can be. She wasn't stoked on the second kayak to begin with but the quality time together fixed that

Nice! I was planning on getting my fiance a kayak for her wedding present. Shes nervous on the water which is ironic considering he has a scuba cert and has waterskied quite a bit. Thanks to your post I'm getting her one for sure

It's not always about fishing! Your right it's nice to have quality time with the one you love and being able to enjoy each others company.

I did the exact same thing with my wife.
Got her a mini x for cheap. Haven't got a chance yet to take her out but once we do she will love it!
