East Cape: day one
Here at East Cape and staying at Rancho Leonero. Sorry not a kayak report (yet).Started day one off with my wife catching a large Jack Crevalle and finished day off on Super Panga catching 5 Roosterfish. We lost a Pompano or Pargo before we saw color. A couple of the Roosterfish were around 20 lbs. Waiting for green light to go out on Hobie......some sort of special training My wife is super stoked which insures future trips. Prior to this trip she had only caught some trout.

I'm super jealous, I've been trying to convince my wife on a Rancho Leonero trip. I wonder what the special training is on the hobie.. Push with your left foot, then your right, sounds tricky but good thing they will train you on it.
Have fun down there |

Super Nice shots! Way to go!
I would love to have a Rooster Fish pull me around on a kayak. That would be some good "Fishin Fix" medacation. |
